This subject examines key issues in the Australian scheme for the regulation of markets for corporate securities. Topics include an introduction to corporate finance; regulation of major equity capital transactions such as reductions, buy-backs, self-acquisitions and dividend payments; corporate fundraising; the structure of securities market regulation and an introduction to takeover regulation.
