66025 Contaminated Site Management

6cp; distance, block, Autumn semester only; availability: all courses; elective for ME(GWM), GradDipE(GWM), MSc(GWM) and GradDipSc(GWM); undergraduates must have completed at least 120 credit points before undertaking this subject
Postgraduate

Students develop an understanding of the methodology and technology used in the assessment and remediation of contaminated sites. Subject content includes: site assessment methodology; physical, chemical and biological properties and behaviour of contaminants; health issues; risk assessment; and site assessment technology.

Assessment: Continuous assessment involving three assignments.
