This subject develops the concepts and purpose of RAM analyses with application to procuring, developing and managing complex systems. It introduces engineers and engineering managers to the ideas and benefits of RAM, to common RAM management programmes and to selected techniques used in engineering design.

Assessment: Two individual assignments, a group assignment and a subject reflection.
