This subject teaches students how to design, develop and evaluate user interfaces to meet pre-defined quality characteristics of functionality (suitability), usability (understandability, learnability, operability, compliance) and portability (adaptability). HCI solutions are implemented using java servlets and JSP. Concepts, theories and technologies underlying the methods and techniques are introduced and explained as required. User interface designs are implemented using DHTML and Javascript. Students apply all that they have learnt to develop and implement a user interface for a business system.
