This subject deals with the principles and practice involved in the administration of construction contracts; general claims management, including preparation of variations, progress claims and time extension/delay cost claims; general conditions of contract, contract analysis and contractual risk allocation; Web-based contract administration and general software applications; project delivery options; sub-contracting; rise and fall provisions; specification writing; cost control of projects during construction and cash flow forecasting; and conflict management and dispute resolution.
