This subject examines the foundational knowledge essential for understanding management functions in education and training organisations from a 'present' orientation. It considers effective management and functioning of educational organisations. Topics in this subject include management roles and functions, organisational life cycles, managing change, management education and training, staff development, information systems, financial management, publicity and advertising for subjects and courses, and personal management skills.
