A warm welcome to you to the Faculty of Nursing, Midwifery and Health at UTS, whether you are a new or existing student, or someone browsing our website or examining our course materials. If you are one of our students, I hope your time with us is wonderfully rewarding and fulfilling and sets you well on your path to improving people's experiences of health care and health care delivery services.
We believe our Faculty to be a leader in its fields, with innovative, practice-oriented Bachelor's degrees in Nursing and in Midwifery which prepare graduates for the contemporary health care environment.
Our postgraduate programs are clinically relevant and evidenced-based, and cover a wide variety of specialty practice areas. Graduate Certificates and Graduate Diplomas build together towards Master's degrees in a step-by-step process which makes this level of education and scholarship achievable for busy clinicians. We also have postgraduate studies in Health Services Management.
Our research degrees and programs of research help develop the knowledge and practice understandings that underpin our courses. They include a new Master's Honours program specifically designed to meet the clinician's need to be able to understand and conduct research.
As a student I hope you enjoy your time with us and find the members of the Faculty helpful in guiding you through your chosen course. You are an important member of the Faculty. We are interested in you and your response to our programs. We encourage you to become actively engaged within the Faculty.
If you are simply browsing our website or literature, I hope you find it helpful and we encourage you to contact us and get to know us better.
