Message from the Dean

Welcome to the UTS Faculty of Law. Our vision statement is "Engage, Educate, Empower" and due to our major curriculum review and resulting changes to our courses from 2008 we are confident this vision will be fulfilled for you. Law is a dynamic and ever-changing discipline, and at UTS the staff in the Law faculty have a commitment to your intellectual development and the acquisition of professional skills and attributes which will serve you well in any area of employment that you choose, including, but not limited to the practice of law.

Whether you are studying at undergraduate or postgraduate level, you will find that UTS Law programs offer some distinctive aspects, including a strong professional core, a focus on the development of professional skills and a willingness to accommodate the needs of our diverse range of students, particularly those in employment. Our close connection with the legal profession and other employers ensures that UTS Law graduates are very highly sought after.
