In accordance with University Rules (Section 10 – Academic Progression), postgraduate students are advised that they may be excluded from a course if they exceed the maximum time allowed for completion of that course (see 10.5).
The Faculty of Education has a well-established and internationally recognised reputation for research that focuses on the complex and multifaceted relationship between learning and change. Our lead researchers are successful in winning competitive research funding from government, industry, organisations and communities, and are committed to collaborative approaches to their investigations. The research projects are outcomes based and research outputs are published widely. The researchers have extensive experience working in partnership with various professional fields and organisations. Our research students come from a variety of professional communities, are encouraged to be active members of the Faculty research community and are integral to the success of our research activities and profile.
The Faculty research centre is organised around two research clusters (Changing Practices and Designs for Learning) led by internationally recognised senior researchers. Under the unifying theme of researching learning and change these groupings reflect the research achievements and expertise of our researchers.
