This subject continues to develop knowledge of the structure and function of the healthy human body and the pathophysiology in disease states. This knowledge underpins professional practice. This subject has been designed to develop an understanding of the anatomy, physiology, microbiology and pathophysiology of the renal, reproductive, gastrointestinal and musculo-skeletal systems. Students also study the drugs used in the treatment of the systems studied.
