This subject introduces students to the production of screen-based graphics and visual literacy in the context of the online environment. Students are expected to produce projects for assessment demonstrating a high level of critical visual awareness. The subject aims to develop an appreciation of basic graphic design, typographic principles, audience awareness, visual research methods and processes particularly for web-based visual communication.
