This subject builds on material provided in the prerequisite subject. It provides the student with a solid grasp of the relationship between mind and behaviour with emphasis on the underlying physiological mechanisms. Implications for health are emphasised throughout the course. The subject encourages the student to evaluate the connections believed to occur between attitudes, behaviour, lifestyle, physiology, and health outcome. Lectures are complemented by practical workshops.
