In this subject, students are encouraged to examine some of the design problems in the area of interactive screen-based media and installation. The history and contemporary use of 'new' technologies for interactive visual communication is covered. Students develop skills in researching and presenting their ideas for interactive media through static visuals like storyboards. The aim in this subject is to develop an understanding of how time, space, movement and sound are perceived by the relevant audience and can be represented in 2D graphic forms.
