Using a cross disciplinary approach, ideas and methods from the fields of behavioural psychology, anthropology, anthropometry, ergomics, demography, and interior design are used to develop students' awareness and understanding of the interaction between people and interior environments. This overview is essential to students' understanding of the way human beings and their behaviour are influenced by and influence the design of interior places and environments.
