Design systems
Research Dissertation ID ties together many of the strands of the program to date. Students examine an activity field from a design systems perspective – the tasks required to perform the activity, the current products involved, the size of the field and its complexity. In short, all the systems which interact with the field of study. The aim is to find where improvements might be made and how they might be implemented, either by changes to the system or by the introduction of new or improved products. The results are compiled in a report.
