On completion of this subject, students should have developed an understanding of: what activities generally constitute 'cybercrime' and the motivations of various cyber criminals; the legislative framework applicable to cybercrime; the issues facing companies pursuing cyber criminals and options for redress; computer forensics and the handling of computer-based evidence; and contemporary issues and trends in cybercrime.
