This subject is in two sections. The first section deals with bankruptcy, including: debtors' petitions; creditors' petitions; acts of bankruptcy; bankruptcy notices; property available to creditors; effect of bankruptcy on property and legal proceedings; proofs of debt; meetings of creditors after bankruptcy; realisation of the bankrupt's estate; and discharge, annulment and arrangements with creditors outside bankruptcy. The second section covers the winding up of insolvent companies, including: the statutory demand procedure, commencement of winding up; effect of winding up on the company, directors and creditors; appointment and powers of the liquidator; property available to creditors; proof of debt; challenging the liquidator's decisions; and termination of winding up, receiverships, voluntary administration, schemes of arrangement, insolvent trading, and pooling.
