In this subject students develop an understanding of aspects of commercial and consumer transactions involving personal property. Students are introduced to concepts of property as well as important aspects of commercial transactions such as finance and payment systems. The subject prepares students for further study not only in sale of goods and consumer law but also finance, banking, insolvency and contract law.
