This subject provides an overview of different approaches to environmental decision-making and the role of the profesional in coordinating resolution between parties. It also examines how to assess environmental conflicts and explores issues related to scientific information and cultural diversity.
Students need to demonstrate an awareness of how sustainability, ethics, culture and social responsibility relate to their professional context.

Assessment: Three essay-style assignments.
