32149 Introduction to Organisational Systems

6cp

Organisational systems are characterised by their messy nature and complexity. Attempts to affect changes often result in unexpected outcomes and consequences. This subject provides students with alternative cognitive tools for approaching complex problem-solving environments, and an understanding of the breadth and limitations of the associated theories, models, methods and techniques. These are then related to the development and management of information systems.
