32028 Aligning Technology to Business Processes

6cp

Business processes now fall in a range of those that are predefined to those that are volatile and emergent. The technology needed to support the different processes is different. Methodologies to define process requirements also differ and fall into the range of well-defined, organisation-driven methodologies to those that are predominantly user driven. This subject defines the range of processes and the methodologies and technologies appropriate to each. It emphasises the methods to integrate back-end systems and web-based electronic commerce systems, but also includes the more traditional processes and their integration with web-based technologies.
