31472 Introduction to Collaborative Systems

This subject introduces students to systems development approaches such as the systems development life cycle and prototyping. There is a particular emphasis on collaborative systems and the social aspects of systems development, namely stakeholder consideration, teamwork, usability and the matching of systems design to work processes. Students use collaborative software tools to discuss systems requirements and to produce a group report, and reflect on these activities as a design process.
