Postgraduate

Understanding and applying advanced integrated planning methods are essential skills of management accountants in today's business. This subject deals with alternative scenarios of business plan integration and plan simulation with a focus on the impact of functional sub-plans on top-level financial results. Both the theoretical concepts behind integrated business planning and the practical implementation in a complex systems landscape are addressed. Students learn how to consolidate operational plans using data warehouses and how to simulate and interpret planning results by altering drivers of financial performance. Interactive, case-based lectures and seminars demonstrate the concepts and allow students to practise in real-time how these concepts can be applied using the SAP solutions.
