22782 Business Process Integration with ERP

This subject focuses on the process-oriented implementation of enterprise software (SAP solutions) in the areas of financial and management accounting, production, materials management, and sales in an enterprise. Theoretical concepts of management accounting are applied in an integrated systems environment, and the integrative nature of cost and revenue accounting is highlighted. Student learn how to integrate business processes and how to set up and operate a complex system to support integrated planning, overhead cost management, product cost planning, profit centre accounting, profitability analysis and variance analysis. An extensive case study project is used to support student learning and familiarise them with the real-world complexity of integrated processes and advanced management accounting.
