How organisations are structured has come to be recognised as a key strategic issue facing managers in enhancing their organisational performance. This subject provides skills in assessing the appropriateness of organisation structures in an e-commerce world. To assist in how to successfully change organisational structures, the subject enhances skills in managing change with an emphasis on how to establish the need for change; how to handle reactions to change; how to talk appropriately about change; and how to institutionalise change throughout the organisation.
