This subject locates contemporary management practices within a global business context dominated by a revolution in communications and information technology (CIT). It focuses on strategic leadership practices that integrate business and CIT strategy and manage its implementation within the context of business operation. The subject identifies critical practices around the management of power, conflict, talent and knowledge, that enable the effective implementation of strategy, and develops, in students, the appropriate conceptual frames of reference and knowledge bases required for the mastery of such practices.
