6cp
Postgraduate
Subject coordinator: Anne Bamford

The exploration of colour and materials is an essential part of painting and printmaking. Students examine children's painting as part of the continuum of artist's work and extrapolate ideas and techniques for effective programs in painting and printmaking for young children by exploring the work of famous printers and painters throughout history. Contemporary painting is also studied. Students develop skills in a range of innovative painting and printmaking techniques that enhance personal modes of artistic communication to provide a wealth of creative possibilities for art educators.
