This subject introduces the notion of visual literacy and explores concepts of drawing as graphic, communicative symbols. Needs-based and sequential programming in visual arts are emphasised. Students develop practical teaching and learning strategies for drawing education. Students are encouraged to extend their own ability in drawing and expand frameworks for production and appreciation of drawn images.
