The General Finance strand provides participants with the opportunity to acquire knowledge of finance theory and techniques in the areas of investment and financing decisions and interactions with capital markets. The strand provides an introduction to the range of skills and expertise expected of employees in the finance function of a firm. Learning strategies that cover both contemporary theory and leading edge techniques in the practice of financial decision making are used in the presentation of the strand.
