The Banking major provides a range of skills and expertise expected of leading practitioners in the banking and finance sectors. Participants have the opportunity to extend their core knowledge in the theory of finance to applications in the more specialised discipline of banking. In particular, expert knowledge is gained in the three key areas of banking: financial institution management, lending, and risk management. Learning strategies are designed to include theoretical knowledge, contemporary global and domestic case material and leading-edge techniques in the practice of banking and decision making.
