It relates to the stewardship of existing facilities to enable effective operation, better business performance and higher levels of worker satisfaction and productivity. Facility management is recognised throughout the world as making an important contribution to the sustainable operation of building assets and organisational activities.

The Facility Management program aims to develop practitioners who can understand and apply facility management principles and techniques, and lead specialist professionals engaged in the management, planning and control of projects across a wide range of industries, technologies and cultural settings, satisfying economic, social, financial, legal, environmental and ethical requirements in all activities.

Applicants with a cognate four-year degree may be given up to 24 credit points of exemptions.
The Master of Facility Management is offered on a one-and-a-half year, full-time, or three-year, part-time basis.
The course is delivered in electronic, distance mode with optional videoconference workshops.
This course comprises 72 credit points. There are four compulsory 12-credit-point core discipline subjects. Students must then choose between 24 credit points of graduate project or four 6-credit-point subjects.
