The Graduate Diploma in Tourism Management is designed to develop critical, interpretive and problem-solving skills, and to provide a broad coverage of the tourism management field and some opportunity for studying areas of specific interests.
The Tourism Management program has been developed to meet the demand for professionals with a high level of management expertise.
Throughout the course, emphasis is placed on the acquisition of strategic planning skills for tourism development, management and marketing.
This course is part of an articulated program comprising the Graduate Certificate in Tourism Management (C11035), the Graduate Diploma in Tourism Management, and the Master of Management in Tourism Management (C04060).
Applicants require one of the following:
Students may be granted a maximum of five subject exemptions, of which two core subjects can be approved from prior undergraduate study.
The Graduate Diploma in Tourism Management is a two-year part-time, or one-year full-time course.
The Tourism Management program is offered at Kuring-gai campus.
The Graduate Diploma in Tourism Management comprises 48 credit points, consisting of eight core subjects.
