This subject has been designed to develop an understanding of the microbiology and pathology of the nervous system and the anatomy, physiology, microbiology and pathophysiology of the endocrine system. Advanced topics on reproductive anatomy, physiology and pathophysiology are also presented. Students also study specific drugs used in the treatment of the systems studied. Diseases acquired parentally, either by trauma, insect bite or other procedures, are also discussed.
