88400 Object and Accessory Design: Capstone Project
6cp
This subject is the capstone for the sub-major 'Object and Accessory Design'. As a major project the subject aims to bring together the skills developed over the preceding three semesters whilst giving students the freedom to create, develop and have manufactured (or manufacture themselves, if appropriate) an object or accessory using either the manufacturing processes studied in earlier semesters or using a process/processes which they have researched themselves. Guest lectures by designers involved in the production, marketing and sale of small objects will back up the students own research into areas of interest.
