The subject explores the legal practitioner's role in commercial and estate practice, including the sale and purchase of businesses, planning business structures, employer obligations, drafting and analysing wills, applying for probate or letters of administration and administering estates.

Assessment: Practice file (30 per cent), will (10 per cent), workshop contributions (20 per cent), examination (40 per cent).
