Physical Modelling A and Physical Modelling B are the full-year equivalent of the first-year physics subject 68037 Physical Modelling. They are generally taken in consecutive semesters, with satisfactory performance in part A being a prerequisite for proceeding to part B. Assessment is made for both subjects upon completion of part B.
Normally, this subject covers mechanics and thermal physics, while part B covers waves and optics and electric and magnetic fields.
