The subject covers the fundamentals of ceramic science and technology, ceramic phase diagrams of binary and ternary systems, structures of and phase transformation, silicate-based and aluminosilicate-based ceramics including glasses, cements and other specialised ceramics, raw materials for their production and manufacturing methods.
