Students develop an understanding of the methodology and technology used in the assessment and remediation of contaminated sites. Subject content includes: site assessment methodology; physical, chemical and biological properties and behaviour of contaminants; health issues; risk assessment; and site assessment technology.
Additional subject costs: Course notes cost $20. Textbook costs to be advised.
Assessment: Continuous assessment involving assignments, problems and a short examination.
