This subject, conducted through a combination of classroom and lab sessions, provides a strong computing basis for groundwater management, especially in the area of statistics and graphics as applied to groundwater problems involving computing. It provides an introduction to DOS and Windows operating systems, databases, spreadsheets, word processing, elements of geostatistics and graphical packages with applications related to groundwater processes, and a groundwater computing project.

Assessment: Continuous assessment involving assignments and problems, which are assessed at an advanced level.
