Postgraduate
This subject introduces data warehousing and data mining, key issues in future information management in an environment in which the filtering and aggregation of external (e.g. WWW) and internal information becomes the critical success factor. The SAP New Dimension Product, Business Warehouse, is used in order to practise the procedures in data warehouse design and in order to demonstrate the integration of data warehouses with other business information systems, above all, the application of information generated in data warehouses for management accounting and decision making.
