This subject explores recent research into professional doctorates to enable students to understand the goals of the EdD and to develop their skills as doctoral researchers. It further introduces students to discussion and debate around relationships between research and policy and research ethics. The subject introduces students to some of the specific learning strategies to be undertaken during the coursework phase.
