016014 Designing Programs for Adult Learners
6cpPostgraduateSubject coordinator: Shirley Saunders
This subject addresses the nine key questions that inform this inquiry-based curriculum. It is concerned with all aspects of adult educational curriculum design. Participants examine how to develop a needs analysis and how to evaluate courses, including the assessment of learning in competency-based curriculum. Participants explore a range of curriculum models and are required to provide a rationale for why curriculum should be designed in a particular way for specific contexts and clients. The skills developed in this subject will be utilised in the subject The Practice of Workplace Learning 2 for the design of the workshop.
