The learning activities in this subject support the transition from a focus on self as competent practitioner to a focus on self as learner in order to provide a sound educational base for facilitating the learning of others. As well as considering specific modes of learning particular to VET, it provides the opportunity for practice of VET technical teaching skills and the development of other knowledge and skills necessary for individuals to become effective VET teachers.
