015483 Adult Learning in Social Context

This core subject aims to assist the educator of adults to understand how adult learning is shaped by social context, and to understand and respond appropriately to social influences on their professional practice. Context is examined at different levels of the group, the organisation, community and society, introducing the student to a range of social theories and perspectives.
