This subject investigates some current issues impacting on organisations and on human resource development practices. Students examine the implications of such trends on the nature and organisation of learning at work. They are presented with case studies that illustrate the impact of these trends on work and work organisation and are provided with opportunities to critically examine the responses of organisations to these emergent issues.
