This subject provides an overview of key numeracy concepts that are relevant to adults in their everyday work and social practices, and the contexts in which they might be used. Different contexts in which, and purposes for which, adults might find themselves needing to engage in numeracy learning are examined. Strategies and methods of learning and teaching are also explored and practised.
