Overview

There is no direct entry to this course. Students must initially enrol in the Doctor of Technology in Science (C02033), and may choose to exit the program at the completion of the coursework component with the award of Master of Technology.

Course aims

The program aims to produce graduates who:

  • have extended their knowledge and that of their industry in a particular scientific area
  • have advanced professional practice in a field, including the development of practical solutions in the workplace, and
  • are capable of enhancing their professional role in their workplace and industry.

Additional admission requirements

As there is no direct entry to this course, applicants to the Doctor of Technology in Science require a recognised Bachelor's degree with Honours. Students who do not have Honours may be eligible for admission with a Bachelor's degree and relevant work experience.

Course duration and attendance

The Master of Technology is offered on a one-year, full-time basis. Subjects are taught in block mode.

Course structure

The Master of Technology in Science comprises the coursework component of the Doctor of Technology in Science (C02033). It consists of four subjects taught in block mode over one year.
