The Strategic Resource Management sub-major provides participants with the opportunity to acquire knowledge of the management accounting processes and the resultant quantification of cost–benefit considerations used to support the resource allocation decisions confronting management. The sub-major assists in the development of an appreciation of the benefits of the application of management accounting thought and leading-edge practical techniques in the development of financial and quantitative information to support decision activity in all aspects of business operations.
