Academic progression

Undergraduate students who do not maintain the required minimum level of progress may be excluded from a course and have their enrolment withdrawn. The minimum rate of progress is achievement of 50 per cent of the credit points for which a student has been enrolled in since the beginning of that course. Postgraduate coursework students who fail to complete the course requirements in the prescribed time may have their registration in the course discontinued. Faculty board may also discontinue a students' registration in a course if the Faculty Board is dissatisfied with the students progress. Postgraduate research candidature may be discontinued for unsatisfactory progress report outcome, for unsatisfactory candidature assessment, or failure to complete in the maximum time. Further information is available on the University Graduate School website at:
